The coffee contest was hosted within Thailand Coffee Fest 2022 at Pavilion CP Meiji. The winning team is VARINDA DUET, comprising Perasin Wasinrapee and Rinrada Karnchanawongpaisarn who won two return flight tickets to Italy including a complimentary tour of the La San Marco factory. The 1st runner-up prize goes to THE HARMONIC, comprising Jatupol Junngongwah and Pijarinee Suwannakul, who won a 15,000 baht cash prize along with honour certificates. The 2nd runner-ups are MALEDPRESSO, comprising Napapol Somwang and Hatairat Kuedtod who won a 10,000 baht cash prize along with honour certificates. The winning teams also received discount coupons for Boncafe products valued at 250,000 baht Usapun Inteevoravong, Chief Officer Executive and Board Member at Boncafe (Thailand), Boncafe (Thailand) Ltd, revealed: “This competition is inspired by our conversations with coffee specialists on the day we shot the La San Marco D Series ‘Proof of Perfection’ video. We have been thrilled to see their excitement and pleasure in using the temperature mode and increasing pressure while brewing coffee. The functions have a great impact on coffee flavour so we would like to share this amazing moment with baristas in Thailand by giving them first-hand experience themselves. We hope this stage can be one of the ingredients in helping Thai baristas shape the future of Thai coffee culture.”
